Herbert Cox

Herbert Montgomery Standish Cox was born at Mulgoa, NSW and died at his home, Wombat Park, Daylesford, in 1944. He was 85 years of age.

He was a noted breeder of sheep, cattle, and horses. He was a member of Melbourne Club and Victoria Racing Club, a foundation member and director of Daylesford Butter Factory, and warden of Christ Church, Daylesford.


Obituary

Mr Herbert Montgomery Standish Cox, aged 85, died at his home, Wombat Park, Daylesford, yesterday. Born at Mulgoa, NSW, he became a noted breeder of sheep, cattle, and horses. He was a member of Melbourne Club and Victoria Racing Club, a foundation member and director of Daylesford butter factory, and warden of Christ Church, Daylesford. He leaves 2 sons and 2 daughters. His wife died 15 years ago. [1]
