The Albion Hotel was a hotel at Allendale, Victoria, <1886-1908.

The hotel was owned by the Ballarat Brewing Company.[1]

History

Site

The hotel was a large wooden building in the main street of Allendale. It was destroyed by fire on 8 September 1908.[1]

  • In December 1886 the license was transferred form Charlotte Smith to E. Darby.[2]
  • In December 1897, the publican was Dennis O'Donnell.[3]
  • The publican in 1908, at the time of the fire, was Mr. J. Mattie.[1]
