The hotel was later named the Half Moon Hotel.[1]

  • In 1867 the publican was W. L. Powell.[1]
  • I ELIZABETH SISTROM, the holder of a Publican's License for a house and premises known as the ANCIENT DRUID HOTEL, situated on the Main road, do hereby give NOTICE that it is my intention to apply to the Justices sit-ting at the Court of Petty Sessions to be holden at Ballarat East on the 4th day of January, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-nine, to TRANSFER the said license to JOHN PETERS,—the Hotel to be known as the Half-Moon Hotel.[2]
