The Ballarat Saw Mills (also known as Smith Bros.) operated from premises on the corner of Sturt Street and Doveton Street in 1863.[1] The owners were brothers Adam Smith (c1825-1888) and James Smith (c1831-1877).

In 1863 the Smith Brothers were running the Ballarat Saw Mills.[2]
