The Bristol Hotel was a hotel in Ballarat, Victoria, <1864-1866>.

Background

Site

The hotel was in Raglan Street.[1] In 1866 Amelia Lee applied for a license for a hotel:

"...situated at Raglan street, Ballarat West; brick and stone hotel, Raglan street; two sitting rooms, three bedrooms, at present rented to Cartright, who is also occupier. Licensed under the sign of the British Hotel."[2]

  • In July 1864 the publican was J. Ellis.[3]
  • In July 1866 the publican was Amelia Lee.[1]
