Background

At the time of his retirement on 23 May 1986 Bob Morgan was head of Carpentry and Joinery at the Ballarat School of Mines and had given over thirty years service to students, staff and Council of the School. The Ballarat School of Mines Annual Report remembered Bob for his qualities of loyalty, care, courteousness, discipline, devotion to education of students and particularly for his ability to react to and facilitate change, motivate staff and also for his inability to say no to any request made of him. [1]

Teachers

Robert Charles Morgan taught Carpentry and Joinery at the Ballarat School of Mines from 1956 to 1986. He was employed as an assistant instructor.
