Obituary

HART. - On the 18th September, at his residence, 31 Washington street, Essendon, Dean Hart, late of Smythesdale; father of Mrs. E. Knights (Oakleigh), Mrs. Mitchell (Essendon), Mrs. O'Bern (Smythesdale), W. R. Hart (Ballarat), and D. Hart (Daylesford); aged 83 years.[1]


The remains of the late Mr. Dean Hart were interred on Monday in the Smythesdale Cemetery, the Rev. F, Saunders, of Linton, officiating. The pall-bearers were Messrs J. Prentice, T. Young, J. Veal, G. Scott, A. Edgar, and J. Aisbett. The coffin-bearers were Messrs J. Knight, W. Mitchell, J Wilson, and D. Hart. The funeral arrangements were carried out by Mr C. Morris.[2]
