Description
Henry Ben Jahn left a bequest of 10,000 pounds to the City of Ballarat for the purpose of creating an animal managerial. Remnants of what became known of the Ballarat Zoo can be found in the Ballarat Botanical Gardens in the area of Zoo Drive.
