James Bridger was a publican in the Ballarat district, <1872>.

In March 1872 Bridger was granted the license for the Bridge Inn at Bungaree.[1] His application was challenged in court but the objector did not turn up, and the license was upheld.

He may have still been the licensee in 1874 but the newspaper spelt the names Budger.[2]
