In the Divorce Court to-day there was commenced the hearing of a suit for a decree of nullity of marriage by John Robert Elsworth, 70 years of age, flock manufacturer, and a well-known Ballarat citizen. The petitioner stated that he married Sarah Elizabeth Boocock in 1897, at the time being unaware that such a marriage was within the prohibited degrees of affinity, the woman he married being a neice of his deceased wife.
