History

Ken Palmer was born in 1925 at Ballarat.[1]

Ken Palmer was undertaking a full course at the Ballarat Technical Art School in 1941-1942 and 1946.[2]

Legacy

Ken Palmer:

  • designed the 1956 Olympics poster for the Olympic Rowing at Lake Wendouree, Ballarat. The poster was designed and printed by Kenneth Palmer Studios, Ballaarat. (size 32 x 51 cm)
  • created the bust of Ben Chifley in the Ballarat Prime Minister's walk during Chifley's election campaign in 1946.
