HI Neil,

I was doing my regular cleanup of the back files and noticed that you have a Barbara Cooper transcript that is currently orphaned. Will you be adding it back in, or does it need to be completely removed?

Regards Beth

Hi Beth,

If you don't mind, leave it there for the time being. I'm using extracts from it for my page on Black Hill, but I don't want to create any links to it because I don't have copyright for it and I want to contact the author before I link it in. Not sure that that makes sense, but that was my thinking.

If you know how to contact Barbara Cooper, that'd be good. I'm planning to ask the Ballarat Historical Society if she's still around.

Cheers,

Neil

Black Hill Rush

Hi Neil, found this today on Trove - http://nla.gov.au/nla.news-article87996832, describing the Black Hill Rush in January 1857. --Peter Waugh 09:31, 28 January 2015 (EST)

Ballaguy

Here is a link to the odd Ballaguy article. It seems to be some sort of in house fight amongst the Ballarat Freemasons. Its in the public notices. http://nla.gov.au/nla.news-article4807741 --Peter Waugh 08:29, 29 January 2015 (EST)
