He worked at the Phoenix Foundry in 1869, position unknown.


COUNTRY NEWS.
BALLARAT.
A youth named William Lawson sustained serious injuries at the Phoenix Foundry on Friday. He was assisting to move a boiler by means of a crane, and fell from the platform, which is about 15ft. or 16ft. high, and on being removed to the hospital was found to be suffering from fracture of the skull.[1]
