William R. Amor

William R. Amor served with the A.I.F. during World War One.

History

William Reddie Amor was born in 1893 at Buninyong. He was Sgt (2784) of the 14th Battalion, and won the Military Medal during World War One.[1]

After World War One, Private 'Bill' Amor established his own carpentry business in Elsworth Street, Ballarat.[2]

Legacy

World War One service recognised on the Ballarat Avenue of Honour and the Yendon Avenue of Honour.
