Notes

A very enjolyable evening was spent at the residence of Mrs Betts, of Urquhart street, on Thursday evening, the occasion being to bid to farewell Messrs Granland, J. King, A. Granland, F. Buckingham, and A. Berry, who are leaving for encampment shortly. The gathering closed with "God Save the King," and cheers for the host and hostess.[3]
