History

Alfred Murley, service number 3297, was 28 years old and a driver when he enlisted in the Australian Imperial Force, 60th Battalion, on the 24th October 1916. He embarked Melbourne 16th December 1916 and disembarked 18th February 1917. He was wounded, broken jaw, in action 27th April 1918. Returned to Australia per "Takada" via the United Kingdom. [1]

This person is listed on the Timor Primary School Honour Roll and the Bowenvale Honor Roll
