History
Baptista Caligari was born at Eganstown, Victoria. He was 33 years of age when he enlisted for service during World War One on 08 February 1916, enlisting in Perth, Western Australia. His next of kin was listed as his wife, Elizabeth Caligari. He served with the 2nd Machine Gun Battalion, and received a gun shot wound to the face. Caligari returned to Australia on the H.T Euripicles.[1]
Legacy
Baptista Caligari is recognised on the Eganstown Avenue of Honour.
