Sergt Basil Benaim, who arrived home last week invalided after having been on active service for over two years. was ac corded a hearty welcome. On his arrival at the station the members of the firm and nearly all the employees of Harry Davies Pty Ltd were present to greet him, and Mr Harry Davies drove the motor. Mr S. Ellis and Mr L. Hillmann provided cars for relatives. A large number of old friends were at home to offer their congratulations. The Ven. Archdeacon James was present, and on his own behalf and that of St. Peter's Young Men's Club expressed keen pleas-sure his safe return.[1]
