Location

This printing firm was situated in Lydiard Street next to Craig's Hotel.[1] BY 1896 it is known as Ben Franklin Printing Works.

Proprietor

This business was owned by Frank W. Pinkerton in 1871.[2] After Frank Pinkerton's death it was managed by the executers until Pinkerton's son, F.W. Pinkerton, reached adulthood (1888) and took over the firm. [3]
