In 1991 Bendix Mintex were located in Elizabeth Street, Ballarat.

History

Bendix Mintex supplied automotive and industrial friction materials, such brakes and clutches, to the Australian and South-East Asian market.[1]

Starting with a staff of 30 employees in 1955, by 1996 they were employing 700 people. [2]

In 1989 the copany employed over 100 people. [3]

W. J. Gribble started working at Bendix Mintex in 1966, retiring from there in 1988 as Chairman and Managing Director.
