Benjamin Spargo Vercoe was born about 1832 in Cornwall (England) to John Vercoe and Elizabeth nee Spargo.


Benjamin Spargo Vercoe was a miner at Ballarat.


Benjamin Spargo Vercoe died 8 February 1868 in an accident at the Cricket Reserve Gold Mining Co.'s claim. He is buried in the Ballarat Old Cemetery (Area WN, Section 6, Row 1, Grave 10).
