Notes

A young woman named Eilen Barker, second daughter, of Mr C. Barker, wheelwright, of the Creswick Road, died yesterday afternoon, from influenza, after a brief illness. Miss Barker was engaged as as sistant milliner to the time of her illness at Mr A. R. Davie’s drapery establishment, Bridge street. The demise of Miss Barker has caused much regret in a wide circle.[2]
