Cummins Bros. were timber saw millers operating from premises located on Bakery Hill, Ballarat and Lydiard Street, Ballarat in 1856.

‘CUMMINS BROS. having now got the assistance of a first-class Steam Saw Mill, they are prepared to cut Hardwood Timber of any size or dimension with punctuality and despatch.
Cummins Bros. have always on hand all sorts of hard and soft wood at their yards on Bakery Hill, and Lydiard street, opposite Bath’s Hotel, Township.
All timber purchased at their yards delivered free.'
