Cyril No.1590, was born in Maryborough, Victoria and enlisted in Liverpool, N.S.W. on the 7th April 1915, in Sydney, aged 29 years.
He was assigned to the 17th Infantry Brigade as ship's fireman. Discharged in England, 15 June 1916, unfit for duty because of medical condition. He was awarded the British War Medal, 1914/15 Star and the Victory Medals. [1]
