David Alexander Spiers (1887-1953) served with the A.I.F. during World War One.
History
David Spiers was born at Miners Rest, Victoria, in 1887, the son of Robert Spiers and Willamina Frazer McLellan.[1] He married Ada Elvira Maud Billman (1889-1958) in 1914.[2][3] David's father was the brother of John Pollock Spiers M.L.A., who built Spier's Bakery at Learmonth.

He died at Ballarat in 1953.[5]
Legacy
World War One service recognised on the Ballarat Avenue of Honour.
