David H. Jude served with the A.I.F. during World War One.
History
In June 1915 the Age newspaper reported:
Private D. H. Jude, who was killed in action at the Dardanelles on 31st May, was the third son of Mr. David Jude, of Yarrawee, near Ballarat. He was 23 years of age. Prior to enlisting he was employed as fire man on various railway lines by the Railway department of Victoria. He lived for two years in Ballarat, and was highly respected by all who knew him.[1]
Legacy
World War One service recognised on the Ballarat Avenue of Honour.
