Notes

CHOKED BY A LACE COLLAR
BALLARAT, Tuesday.
A lace collar is stated to have been re sponsible for the death from suffocation of Miss Martha Kerr, sister of Mr. David-Kerr, ex-M.L.A., mayor ot Buninyong. Miss Korr was found dead in her room, and Dr. Longden in his report of the post mortem examination to the coroner stated that deceased was probably overcome by a fainting turn, and had become asphyxiated by the tightness of the lace collar she wore.[2]
