David La Motty (1829-1869) was a publican in the Ballarat district, <1861-1869.
History
David La Motty was born in Jersey, in about 1829.[1] His parents were Philip La Motty and Elizabeth Powell. [2]
In 1861 he was listed as the publican of the Court House Hotel, in Smythesdale.[3]
His brother, Joseph La Motty, was Mayor of Smythesdale in 1866.[4]
He died on 10 May 1869.[1]
