The Eastern Railway Hotel was a hotel in Ballarat, Victoria, <1888>.

The hotel was in Humffray Street.[1]

History

The hotel was one of the hotels reviewed at the Licensing Court 1888 hearings.

  • Charged in the city court yesterday with not having the billiard room door unlocked on August 22, Edith Rollan, licensee of the Eastern Railway Hotel, was fined £2 yesterday. A fine of £1 was added for having permitted persons to be on the premises after hours.[2]
  • Transfer of licence William Bant Haymes to Patrick Bernard Hjorth, and Annie Elizabeth Hjorth, trading as "P. B. & A. E. Hjorth."[4]
