Eliza J. Sale was a publican in Ballarat, Victoria, <1868>.

History

Eliza Jane Sale applied for a publican's license in Ballarat East in May 1868, but was refused by the Licensing Court:

An application was made by Eliza Jane Sale for a license for a hotel near St. Paul's schools Reserve, Mr Lewis supported the application, which was opposed by the police. Refused, on the ground of the place being in too close proximity to the schools in question.[1]
