History
Felix Joseph 'Phil' Bergin was born on in 1890 at Warrenheip, Victoria. During World War One he was a Sergeant with the 8th Battalion. He was killed in action on 16 April 1918 and is buried at Nieppe Bois British Cemetery, Vieux-Berquin, France. [1]
He enlisted on 18 August 1914 aged 24 years. He was killed near Vieux-Berquin, Nieppe Forest, Hazebruck, at which time he had the rank of Sergeant.
Legacy
World War One service recognised on the Ballarat Avenue of Honour.
