History

Frederick John Crompton Sale was born at Ascot Vale on 14 June 1892. His parents had family connecton to Ballarat, and moved there in 1913.[1]

Fred Sale enlisted for service during World War One, returning home.[2]

Legacy

World War One service recognised on the Ballarat Avenue of Honour.
