History

Frederick Vale enlisted in the AIF on 25 march 1916.[1]

Legacy

Tree 3425 in the Ballarat Avenue of Honour was planted for Frederick Vale of the 3rd Tunnelling Company. The tree is either a Scarlet Oak or a Chestnut Oak, and was planted on 09 June 1919 by Miss E. Pitts.[2]
