History
G. J. Carroll was Chairman of the Carroll Co. in 1886; Chairman of the Star of the East Co. and of Gay's Freehold Co. in 1887; and a Director of the New Koh-i-Noor Co., the North Plateau Co., the Northern Star Co., the South Star Co., and of the Owen's and Band of Hope Freehold and Leasehold Co. in 1887.[1]
