George A. Jenkin

History

George Andrew Jenkin was born at Broomfield on 29 September 1893, and attended Magpie Primary School. His parents were Andrew and Emily Jenkin. George was killed in action in France on his birthday, 29 September 1916.

Legacy

World War One service recognised on the Ballarat Avenue of Honour, Sebastopol Honour Roll, and the Magpie State School Honour Roll.
