George Elliott worked at Trewhella Foundry in Trentham.[1]

FALL INTO A CREEK. TRENTHAM, Monday.--Mr. George Elliott, engineer, employed at Messrs. Trewhella's Sunnyside Foundry here, accidentally stepped over a bridge in the darkness of Friday night last, whilst returning from a drawing instruction meeting. He fell a distance of about 15ft. into the creek, and sustained a fracture of the base of the skull. Mr. J. H. Sleeman. M.B., treated him for the injury. His condition is critical.[2]
