History

Early non-indigenous settlers at Buninyong were George Coleman, George Gab, George Innes, Rev. Thomas Hastie. George Gab opened the an accommodation for travellers on the spot where Jamieson's Hotel, Buninyong was later built.[1]

Family

George Airey was the brother of a Crimean officer.[2]
