Mr Alfred Feild, of 3 Ascot street, on Saturday was notified by the Defence Department of the death through illness of his son, Crpl G. W. Feild. He had been on active service with the Aviation Corps for the last two years, and whilst in France contracted Spanish influenza and pneumonia. He died on the 9th November at the Harefield Hospital, England.[1]
