History
Josh Harry (Harry) Reid left a position as writer for the Ballarat Courier, before serving during World War One. At one time he was employed writing shorthand for General Sir John Monash.[1]
Harry Reid died quietly at Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital on 10 August 1964.[2]
Legacy
Harry Reid's World War One service is recognised on the Ballarat Avenue of Honour.
Family
Harry Reid was married to Miriam Scott in 1918.[3]
