"Private H. G. Spencer (wounded) is the son of Mr. F. Spencer, of Ballarat East, a railway engine driver. He is 19 years of age, and before joining the force had worked at Cowley's foundry, and also on the railways."[1]
Legacy
World War One service recognised on the Ballarat Avenue of Honour.
