The Horse Bazaar Hotel was in Ballarat, Victoria, <1857-1862.

Background

History

In May 1857. the owner A. P. Bowes, offered the hotel for sale or lease.[1]

The hotel was burnt to the ground on 26 November 1862, during a large fire which also destroyed 30 buildings.[2]

Site

The Horse Bazaar Hotel was in Main Street, Ballarat.[3]

The hotel was the venue for a meeting of the Municipality of Ballarat East, in April 1857.[4]
