Hugh Gray & Sons were 'mechanists and philosophical instrument makers' operating from 43 Dana Street, Ballarat in 1876.[1]

Background

History

In 1878 the business address had become 41 Dana Street - although this may reflect a change to the street numbering system, rather than a move in premises.[2]

By 1887 the business was listed as 'engineers' operating from premises on Dana Street and Mackenzie Street, Ballarat.[3]
