History
John Leslie Westcott was born at Warrenheip near Ballarat. He enlisted during World War One on 13 June 1916 at the age of 25, at which time he described himself as a farmer. John gave his brother, Frank Westcott of Leigh Creek, as his next of kin.[1]
Legacy
World War One service recognised on the Ballarat Avenue of Honour.
