History
James Patrick Beattie was born in 1876 at Nerranda, Victoria. During World War One he was a Captain with the 12th Field Artillery, enlisting on 23 February 1916. He died on 22 August 1943 at Kew, Victoria. [1]
Legacy
World War One service recognised on the Ballarat Avenue of Honour.
