John Wolff
History
Wolff was originally from Southampton. He ran a general store in Trentham which incorporated a grocery, butchery and bakery. The bakery's scotch oven is still in use at Trentham's RedBeard Historic Bakery. Wolff was a:
- good townsman and a staunch Anglican, bequeathing a sum of money towards the building of the new church [1]
