NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the partnership hitherto existing between James Newman and Alfred Newman, under the style of Newman Brothers, carrying on business at the Junction Foundry, Smythes Creek, as Iron and Brass Founders, hath this day been dissolved by mutual consent; all debts of the said firm to be paid by Alfred Newman, and all monies due to the same received by him. BROWNS AND SCARSDALE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL. Thursday, 13th November. From the municipal surveyor, calling the attention of the Council to a crossing recently constructed by the Woady Yaloak Road Board near Newman’s Foundry, on the road between Scarsdale and Smythesdale, which was completely submerged and rendered impassable by sludge flowing from the claim of the Great Wonder Gold Mining Company.[8] |
