Background

The Lal Lal reservoir opened in 1972 securing the water supply for the foreseeable future.

The Lal Lal reservoir has a capacity of 13.100 million gallons. The dam is 136 feet deep, with a surace of 870 acres. The catchmnet is 100 square miles.[1]
