History

Leonard Gordon Clark Kyle was born in Geelong in 1890, the eldest son of Albert Kyle and Elizabeth Clark. He enlisted for service during World War One at Ballarat and sedrved with the 39th Battalion. He died at Passchendaele on 12 October 1917 during World War One.[1]

Legacy

The World War One service of Len Kyle is recognised on the Ballarat Avenue of Honour.
