Leonard Moon

History

Known as Leonard Nicholas Moon, enlisted in the Imperial Army, 14th Battalion . A.I.F, as a Private, aged 28 years and three months 19th February 1917, no 4734. He embarked at Melbourne per A29 "Suevic" 21st June 1917, Disemmarked Liverpool, 26th August 1917. Admitted to LOC Hospital , (wounded gassed) 14th August 1918 Killed in action in France 29th September 1918, buried Bellicourt British Cemetery, Bellicourt, Picardie, France

He received the Star, British War and Victory Medals
