The Lord Nelson Hotel was a hotel in Ballarat, Victoria, <1862-1868>.

Background

History

The Lord Nelson Hotel was destroyed in a large fire on 26 November 1862, that also destroyed 30 other buildings.[1] It must have been rebuilt as there are references to it again in 1868.[2]

The hotel was in Main Road.[1]

  • On 6 October 1868, William Francis Pleydell, died at his residence in the hotel.[2]
